EXPERIENCE
Trent Barnes is an Associate with Turnstone Investment Banking. Since joining the firm in 2022, Trent has advised on M&A transactions and corporate advisory engagements across a broad range of industries, with a particular emphasis on valuation, financial analysis, and transaction execution.
Prior to Turnstone, Trent was a member of KPMG’s Accounting Advisory Services group, where he advised clients on complex accounting and reporting matters, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, GAAP conversions, and post-merger accounting integrations. This background brings a rigorous, diligence-focused perspective to transaction work.
EDUCATION & AFFILIATIONS
Trent earned both his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Accountancy from the University of Missouri and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Missouri.
OUTSIDE OF WORK
Outside of work, Trent enjoys playing guitar, reading history, spending time with friends and family, and tending to his conifer garden, affectionately known as “The Cone Zone”.
