EXPERIENCE
John Hense is a Managing Director with Turnstone Investment Banking. With over 40 years of diversified financial experience, including 30 years in investment banking, Hense sources and leads corporate finance projects in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising advisory, financial and strategic planning, and general business advisory.
Prior to Turnstone, Hense was a shareholder and principal at Christenberry Collet Investment Bankers and Managing Director and practice leader at CC Capital Advisors investment banking. Past experience includes several finance roles at Hallmark Cards, including the Corporate Development group where he was responsible for acquisitions and divestitures. Previous work experience also includes bond trading for a regional brokerage firm, property manager for a real estate partnership, and owner/operator of a popular fitness center during graduate school.
EDUCATION & AFFILIATIONS
Hense earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Kansas, where he currently serves on the faculty in the School of Business. Hense is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies and currently serves on several boards including Pegasus Capital Management and Catholic Community Health/Villa St. Francis.
